MORE INFO
Looking for NEW Volunteers... Leavenworth Recycles is always looking for site monitors to help keep our drop off site going. If you have a couple of hours per two weeks to spare let us know! For more information, please email info@leavenworthrecycles.org or call David Morgan at (509) 548-2239.
In partnership with the City of Leavenworth and Chelan County, Leavenworth Recycles has established a drop off site at the intersection of Chumstick Highway and North Road near the County gravel pit. Three bins are set up to collect the following materials:
- Aluminum cans
- Clear #1 PETE plastic bottles
- Mixed paper (includes office paper, newspaper, magazines, chipboard such as cereal boxes, junk mail, etc.)
- Corrugated cardboard
In order to keep the site clean and functional, we need your help. Please follow all posted instructions and only put loose materials in the appropriate containers (no plastic bags.) Please join us. All are welcome to attend our monthly Board of Directors meetings, held the first Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the Leavenworth P.U.D. building behind the Fire Station, at 222 Chumstick Highway.
